Did you know that SafeKidsUSA found that 40 percent of all child related injuries occur at the beginning and the end of the school year? Nearly 70 percent occur on public playgrounds like the ones at schools! Yikes! All that fixing playground to make them safer and yet there's still a lot of injuries - let's face it, kids will be kids and they want to play, not tiptoe around. They are going to end up banging themselves up a little sometimes If you have older kids who are playing fall sports like volleyball and football, they probably feel the pain from the practice drills and game play. (Oh, torturous line drills - how I DON'T MISS YOU!!!! lol)
Topricin Junior is a pediatrician-recommended natural pain relief and healing cream. It's specially formulated for children, and it targets pain as it rapidly goes to work helping the body to heal the damage that’s causing the pain. And it's not just for aches and pains - you can use it on everything from bug bites to eczema. Because it uses natural biomedicines that naturally support and assist the body to reduce inflammation, it is gentle and has no odor, as well as uses no volatile oils such as camphor or menthol. You don't have to worry that his product contains irritating chemicals, because it doesn't! It's safe for little ones over the age of 12 on up. To use, you simply generously rub Topricin Junior onto the affected muscle, sore, etc, going a little over the edge of the area. You can use it in the evenings, morning/after bathing, and even throughout the day if you have access to your child. (Remember, some schools would still consider this a medication, and you'll need to notify the teacher and/or have a doctor's note in order for them to have access to it in school)
I keep a tube of Topricin Junior in my purse, just in case we need it while we're out at the playground, etc. We've used this homeopathic remedy on everything from big bites to bruises on my daughter, and it's helped save the day! I've come to consider it an essential first aid supply in my home. (It's definitely included in the zombie apocalypse preparations for my daughter! LOL!)
You can find Topricin Junior at stores like Fred Meyer and Whole Foods, as well as online via the Topricin website and other e-tailers. A 1.5-ounce tube has a suggested retail price of $12.99.

I loved the swings and slide but not the monkey bars. Very small school without much of a playground.

I loved the swings. Used to go up higher than the bar!!
I remember being scared of this metal merry go round because it made this loud noise whenever you spinned it.
Thanks
As a kid we lived in an apartment complex and we had a really nice playground. I loved the monkey bars! Of course I fell quite a few times and hurt myself. I remember slipping from the monkey bars and landing on my back quite a few times. It'd knock the breath out of me. Then we had the fireman pole which was really high up, so got a hurt there a lot also.
