Review & Giveaway: Subway's New Tuscan Chicken Melt

I'll admit it: I have a thing for Subway. It's the one fast food place that I am sure my order will be exactly as I want it since they make it in front of me. Bonus: it's healthier. Did you know if you order any foot long, and ask them for all the veggies on your sub, it's about four servings of veggies?

SUBWAY recently added a new limited-time offer to their FRESH FIT menu during the month of October: the Tuscan Chicken Melt. This new sandwich contains seasoned chicken strips, melted cheese and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette dressing on your choice of sub bun (including flatbread). And because it has 380 calories and 8 grams of fat per 9-grain wheat bread 6" sandwich if you skip the cheese and other fattening condiments like mayo, you won't spend all day at the gym working off the extra calories. ;) It also won't break the bank, because through October 31st, it's just $6.00 for a footlong sandwich!



Subway invited my family to try out the new Tuscan Chicken Melt. I chose the Italian Cheese & Herbs bread, pepperjack cheese, and all of the veggies:

Of course I had them freshly toast it too, so my cheese was nice and melted. I have to have them cut the 6" subs into half because those veggies are a lot! YUM! The Tuscan Chicken Melt has quickly become one of my favorite Subway subs, because it was flavorful and super filling. I hope Subway will keep it around longer than just this month!
