Shielo Hydrate Vibrancy Conditioner contains plant proteins and hydrating peptides to add moisture for richer color in thirsty hair. Those deep penetrating peptides strengthen hair damaged from color treatments or highlighting - or really, any damage. The vitamins and minerals are designed to seal the cuticle to lock in vibrancy - which leaves you with shinier, youthful hair. It uses a paraben-free preservative system with certified organic extracts, and it's sulfate free.
To use the Shielo Hydrate Vibrancy Conditioner, simply shampoo your hair as normal, then apply from scalp to ends, focusing on those ends! Leave on your hair for up to two minutes, then rinse thoroughly. It's recommended you follow up with Shielo's Antioxidant Leave In Protectant. (see my review of that product here)
The bottle has an easy to use - and easy to unplug if needed - pop top to get the product out. The first thing I noticed when I went to apply the product was the smell of the shea butter. It's one of the top ingredients used in this conditioner, and it's very obvious! I loved the smell, because I knew it was adding much needed moisture to my hair. Now, I have longer hair that has been colored, so I always was sure to leave it on for a minimum of two minutes as recommended, sometimes a few moments longer. (I try to work some of the tangles out of my hair when I have conditioner on) After a few uses of the conditioner, I definitely felt that my ends weren't quite so crispy, and I could see the moisture - and shine! - coming back to my hair. All in all, I was pretty pleased with the results on my hair.
Like all of Shielo's products, this one is cruelty free and not tested on animals. It's also proudly made here in the USA using sustainable ingredients, and the bottle is recyclable. I can't say I have even been disappointed with any of the items I have tried from Shielo, so this one continues the happy trend for me!
An 8 ounce bottle of Shielo Hydrate Vibrancy Conditioner retails for $22.49, and you can purchase it online via their website. They currently have free shipping on all orders over $75.
I received the product mentioned above in order to try it out and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own, and your results could vary from mine depending on your hair type and even your water type.
