So when the opportunity arose to review car decal stickers from Vinyl Disorder, I was super excited. They had a lot of fun ones to choose amongst, like aliens and footprints. They even have snowflakes, bowling pins, and Transformer logos! But I wanted something a little different... so I choose the Storm Trooper Skull and Crossbones:
You can completely customize these, from the colors chosen to size - from large to small. They even have metallic colors! I ended up picking them out in white for us - I figured they wouldn't fade quickly and would hang around longer.
The vinyl designs arrives in what is really 3 layers - the top you see, the middle layer that's the design you see, and the bottom that's the shiny backing paper. First, you'll want to be sure your window is clean, and dry. To place it on your vehicle window, you simply tape the top seam with masking tape so it's like a hinge and slowly peel off the bottom layer. Then you'll rub the middle layer - that's the layer with your design - using something like a popsicle stick. Then you'll carefully peel off the top layer.
I'd have a lovely picture to show y'all, but wanting to add this to our truck smack in the middle of monsoon season probably wasn't the most brilliant idea I've had. :( We finally had a dry spell (for a few hours. LOL!) so I sent DH out to do it yesterday, only to find out it doesn't work quite so great when it's pretty cold out. If you're going to place one of these sets on your windows, I'm recommending that it's a bit warmer when you try to do so, because DH could not get it to peel and stick to the window properly. He's pouting right now - he was really looking forward to having them displayed on our truck!
The Storm Trooper Skull and Crossbones design I picked out retails for $12.99, but it's currently on sale for just $3.00, which is a seriously great deal! You can purchase it online via their website.
I received the item mentioned above in order to try it out and share my thoughts on it. All opinions are my own.

Those are sure cute...and different! I always wonder about the safety of showing a single-parent family....on the back of your vehicle. I dunno, I just think it's a safety thing.
Hey, Merry Christmas, pally!
