Random Thoughts Tuesday - Yhnfwhdtfa

In the spirit of randomness, the post title is random letters today. ;)

My allergies are not any better. I even managed to go through every single handkerchief I owned in less than 24 hours and had to break into a box of tissues while waiting for the laundry to be done. For some reason it just feels like this year's allergy season is twice as bad as last year's?

Yesterday it was a beautiful day, so we went on a hike and then came back home to work in the garden. Or rather I work, while everyone else played. lol I can still see the effects of last year's "drought" (3 months without rain) on our garden - we have a lot of soft moss covering the ground, but not a lot of grass. And that soft moss harbors spiders a little too well for my taste! I have some pretty purple crocuses that have opened, and the tulips are coming up nicely. Oh, and a few dandelions. ;) My seedlings are chugging along so-so inside my greenhouse. The sunflowers are doing the best, and I have a few tomatoes and basil s-l-o-w-l-y starting come up. There is still no sign of life in the peppers and eggplant. This week I am going to start round two of seedlings with more peppers, zucchini, carrots, and lettuce. The Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company catalog arrived in the mail a few days ago, and we're making giant wishlists. lol

I need to bake.

Crazy neighbor hasn't been quite so crazy and must be taking her meds, because we haven't heard a peep from down that side of the neighborhood. Thank goodness, from both our standpoint and for her health.

‘Pride, Prejudice And Zombies’ Movie Adaptation Returns From The Dead Hopefully this time it stays on track to be done...

At AMC, Zombies Topple Network TV I can't say network TV has had a lot of interesting shows available over the last ten years. Firefly and the short lived Jericho has been about it in the must-see department. Cable has had a little bit more, with the newer Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, and The Dresden Files. Of course it usually runs this way - if we like a show, it gets canceled. lol That might be part of the (ok, our) excitement with TWD doing so well. AMC would have to be absolutely mad to cancel it anytime soon.

Hope you get well soon with your colds. Looks like a lot of things should be done in the garden these days. I haven't started mine yet.
